Tim “The Pierce County Kid” Nordstrom: Guitar
Tim brings a varied musical background to 3rd Degree Burn, from jazz groups in the early 1990s to Latin band Grupo Serenata in the late ‘90s to country and cowboy bands in the mid 2000s.
“I bought my first guitar as a 20th birthday present. I taught myself to play with the help of my college roommate and have playing ever since,” he says.
Influences include Jimmy Buffet, Willie Nelson, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn,
The Ventures, Danny Gatton, and Louis Armstrong.
When he’s not ripping out tunes you can find him hiking and backpacking,
following local and national politics or watching the Seahawks.
